The world of Pro Audio is unlike the one found in a Home Theater, and I don't just mean the price. In fact you can typically find high quality pro audio equipment for less than a similar high end home theater system.
The differences between the two are small and shrinking (thanks to advances in digital signal processors), but are still important to understand when dealing with a pro audio environment.
